South London label Forgot Records return with a follow up to last year's debut, delivering four club focused offerings on Forgot 002.

Hoffy kicks off the A side with a deep, driving cut, combining hazy sounding horns and a memorable synth line. The A2 sees newcomer Lavan provide a laid back, soulful jam with infectious keys and a twisted R&B vocal loop.

Joe S delivers a bouncy, percussive introduction to the B side before a debut from Cass Brooker rounds things off with a peak-time party starter on B2.

If anything, this is an even more impressive release than the debut. Hoffy once again shines with another ludicrously intense but wonderfully melodic club banger, but he's not the only jewel in the Forgot crown. Lavan continues the good work he delivered on Dance Ideas Vol.2 recently with an understated, keyboard driven late night soulful roller; Joe S takes a trip to Detroit and shows he can take the Motor City on at their own game, and then some; and Cass Brooker delivers the kind of chugging, sampladelic disco-house that always tears up a dance floor. Forgot are only on release number two, but they're showing they've got musical maturity beyond their years and a pool of artists with serious chops to match. - Dom Servini Wah Wah 45s
